Delhi Capitals (DC) kept their IPL 2026 playoff hopes alive after beating Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 5 wickets in Match 62 at Arun Jaitley Stadium. Delhi chased the target of 194 runs in 19.2 overs by losing 5 wickets.

After losing the toss, Rajasthan Royals batted first and scored 193 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. Dhruv Jurel played a good innings of 53 runs, while captain Riyan Parag scored 51 runs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi also impressed with 46 runs.
For Delhi, Mitchell Starc was the top bowler with 4 wickets. Madhav Tiwary and Lungi Ngidi took 2 wickets each.

Chasing 194 runs, Delhi got a strong start. Abhishek Porel scored a fast 51 runs from 31 balls, while KL Rahul made 56 runs in 42 balls. Captain Axar Patel stayed not out on 34 runs.
At the end, Ashutosh Sharma played a quick innings of 18 runs from just 5 balls and helped Delhi win the match.
For Rajasthan Royals, Jofra Archer and Brijesh Sharma took 2 wickets each.
With this win, Delhi Capitals are still in the playoff race. Rajasthan Royals have now lost three matches in a row.
